Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–8 pm. Was quoted 25 and change initially when I ordered the pickerel dinner, which is no longer on the in-store menu (8 mile location). I made a comment about it still being on the online menu and was told it’s no longer an option. Ok no big deal. The fish monger says it’ll be 24 and change because it’s gone down a bit. I repeated to him for the dinner and he states yes. Come time to pay, the lady comes from the back and says my order is 34 dollars… I said the guy told me 24 and she said that was just for the fish. If you are quoted something, that’s what it should be which was stated to her. And why did I find a staple on the inside of my lid when I opened it?! You guys are messing up today, fix it!

I was there on April 17th. Waiting in the establishment over 30min for a fish sandwich. When I went to the counter, turns out it was ready, but she never called my order number. When I said "you never called my number" She said in a Nasty tone that she did. I choose Not to go back and forth with her, and left. The fish was Not good enough for a 30min wait, and a bad attitude. I will Never go back

Ordered some Red Snapper today and drove over 20 miles to be very disappointed and dissatisfied for $80? The fish was very dry, not fresh with some scales left on the fish. We've purchased fish from here before but never experienced this type of dissatisfaction. The fish had no taste at all but should have gotten Catfish. Will be looking for better service that's local.

- Whiting Dinner I’ve been coming to Fresh Fish House for over 10 years. I’ve patronized pretty much all of their locations across Metro Detroit. This particular location was the 8 mile location in Detroit, Michigan. The food has always been pleasing. Hot, fresh and seasoned well. However, it seems as if the owners of this establishment are choosing to not invest in the aesthetics and maintenance of the location. This location is in desperate need of an update/remodel. Additionally, the air conditioning is currently not working. Logically for some sort of comfort in the summer heat, employees are leaving the main door open causing flies and whatever else to freely enter into the building. It feels as if the owners of this establishment do not particularly care about how this establishment looks on the inside based on the area it’s in. It is in desperate need of a remodel and thorough deep cleaning. Customer service was good per usual. The wait was anticipated based on the food being made fresh. I’m requesting that this location be updated in support and respect for the locals patronizing this establishment. Lastly, I strongly doubt if this were a β€œdifferent” location, none of thi

Been waiting to hit this place for a minute now giving I pass by often. I ordered the 5 piece jumbo shrimp, and pangasius dinner. Everything was fresh and cooked to order. The jumbo shrimp were actually JUMBO shrimp, HUGE & delicious!! This was my first time having pangasius fish, and it was awesome, I'm always down to try something new. next time I'll be checking out the orange roughy and pickerel. I intended to eat this meal myself but definitely needed help, it's worth the funds... might be my new spot!!
